Be part of our so called "Heimdall" project ! Support the development of an exciting project where we are reinforcing and upgrading our software and business processes. Reporting to our Product Manager, and as the Product Owner of a new "to be built" Intellectual Property management software, your main tasks will be:
- Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
- Developing a deep understanding of user needs, their challenges, and unmet needs
- Understanding individual requirements and defining concrete prerequisite
- Evaluating through KPIs (Key Performance Indicators, benefits vs efforts)
- Aligning tool specifications with different entities’ requirements
- Developing user stories
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them following Development Committee’s decisions
- Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
- Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
- Participating in Scrum meetings
The perfect match...
You possess a deep understanding of the Intellectual Property landscape and has at least 3 years of experience working in an IP law firm or an IP service provider company or in a related field
- Tech-savvy, you have a first successful professional experience developing or supporting software for legal or IP processes
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodology and Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, to develop products iteratively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
- Process productivity minded
- You can stick to timelines and measure progress during development
- Prioritize effectively using data driven rationales and a discipline focusing on high impact activities
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of product development architecture and understanding of design quality and user experience standards
- First experience working as a Business Analyst or a Product Owner in a similar environment
- Proficiency in the use of analytic tools and a good knowledge of software development and other relevant web technologies
- You have the ability to work with small and large development teams
